Report: Ed Herman vs. Da Un Jung Rebooked For UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana

A light heavyweight division attraction has been rebooked for UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana as Ed Herman faces Da Un Jung.

Fight Book MMA first reported the news, as the bout was originally set for UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City.

Herman (25-14-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Patrick Cummins and Khadis Ibragimov. Herman hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over a year, with that last loss coming to Gian Villante at UFC Fight Night Moncton. Herman also made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, losing to Kendall Grove in that final fight.

Jung (13-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Mike Rodriguez and the aforementioned Ibragimov. Jung comes into the bout riding a twelve fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Jung has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana takes place on Saturday, August 1 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas,, Nevada with Holly Holm and Irene Aldana headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
