Report: Eric Spicely Signs With Taura MMA, Debuts November 22

Former UFC fighter Eric Spicely was released earlier this month and has already found a new promotion to call home, with that promotion being Taura MMA.

MMA Fighting first reported the news, while also revealing that Spicely signed a one fight deal with the promotion and will debut on November 22 against an opponent to be announced.

Spicely (12-5-0) had a total of two separate runs with the UFC, earning an overall record of 2-5-0 with the promotion. Spicely’s two victories in the UFC came over the duo of Thiago Santos and Alessio Di Chirico. Spicely also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Andrew Sanchez. Spicely has spent a good portion of his professional MMA career competing in CES MMA, where he holds a victory over fellow UFC veteran Caio Magalhaes.

Taura MMA 12 takes place on Saturday, November 22 from a location to be announced in Atlantic City, New Jersey with Renan Barao and Bobby Moffett headlining.
