A change has been made to the UFC Fight Night Denver main event.

At UFC Fight Night 10 Denver on November 10th at the 'Pepsi Center', the main event bout for the night was slated to be a clash of the featherweights featuring the 23-6-1 Frankie Edgar taking on the 14-4-0 Chan Sung Jung but unfortunately former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar had to pull out of the main event because of an injury.

The news was reported to ESPN via UFC President Dana White. According to the site, Edgar's camp told ESPN MMA Analyst Ariel Helwani that Edgar tore his left bicep but the injury will not require surgery and Edgar is hoping to return in early 2019. Filling in for Frankie Edgar is the 10-2-0 Yair Rodriguez. Rodriguez was set to face Zabit Magomedsharipov at UFC 228 on September 8th but due to an injury two weeks before the bout, he was not cleared to compete and had to be pulled from the fight. Rodriguez is getting his fight after having to step out of his last scheduled one and it will be Rodriguez's first bout since May of 2017 when he was defeated by Frankie Edgar via TKO at UFC 211.
