Report: Gilbert Burns Steps In At UFC Fight Night Copenhagen

Gunnar Nelson was in need of a new opponent for UFC Fight Night Copenhagen after the withdrawal of Thiago Alves and now he has one because a report from Raphael Marinho of Combate is stating that Gilbert Burns has accepted the short notice opportunity.

Nelson (17-4-1) has won just one of his last three encounters, with that lone win coming over Alex Oliveira at UFC 231. Nelson has picked up seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of those came by way of submission. Nelson has gone the distance four times as a professional MMA fighter and the fighter lost three of those bouts.
