A women?s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Prague according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as Gillian Robertson is going to be in the Octagon against Veronica Macedo.
Robertson (5-3-0) has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Molly McCann and Emily Whitmire. Robertson also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Barb Honchak. Robertson has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of submission.
Macedo (5-2-1) is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped bouts to the duo of Ashlee Evans-Smith and Andrea Lee. Macedo hasn?t picked up a win in over two years, with that last victory coming over Karine Gevorgyan at Mix Fight Events. Macedo has competed seven times as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of her fights have gone the distance.
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
