Big plans were in the future of Gina Carano before social media posts ended her run with Disney.

Carano, who played Cara Dune on The Mandalorian Disney+ show, was reportedly set to star in her own show, Rangers of the New Republic. Via We Got This Covered, there was also a rumor that she would have made an appearance in The Bad Batch, an animated Star Wars series. She could have played a younger version of Dune. Now, Carano is out of all projects with Disney, and Hasbro has dropped a planned action figure featuring her.

While Carano's was known for controversial social media posts, the last straw for Disney was a post comparing the struggle of Republicans in the United States to Jews during the Holocaust. She believes she was bullied by Disney, who received multiple messages from fans called for her unemployment. She even told Deadline she believes her time on the show was coming to a close before the post.

It was also reported that Carano is looking to produce her own movie project. She is teaming up with The Daily Wire's Ben Shapiro to write, produce, direct, and star in a program that will expand the right-wing entertainment organization's platform.

Competing from 2006-2009, Carano fought for Strikeforce and EliteXC. She lost her last pro fight in 2009 against Cris Cyborg for the Strikeforce featherweight title.
