A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Moscow according to MMA DNA as Grigorii Popov is going to be in action against Davey Grant.
Popov (13-2-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Eddie Wineland at UFC 238. Popov hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, with his last win coming over Baxier Tenuliuer at WLF WARS 28 in October of 2018. Popov has seen just six of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter picked up wins in each of those encounters.
Grant (10-4-0) has won just one of four bouts in UFC competition, with that lone win coming against Marlon Vera at UFC Fight Night 84. Grant is going to be competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place at UFC Fight Night Hamburg in July of 2018. Grant has competed a total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, November 9 from the CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
