Mariya Agapova needed a new opponent for UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo after the withdrawal of Melissa Gatto and now she has one because Hannah Cifers has accepted the short notice opportunity.

Agapova (8-1-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this encounter and does so on a two fight winning streak. Agapova competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 6, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Tracy Cortez. Agapova has competed a total of nine times as a professional MMA fighter and three of those bouts went the distance.
Cifers (10-5-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill. Cifers competed a little over a week ago at UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns, dropping a bout to the aforementioned Hill. Cifers has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter, with five coming by KO/TKO and five by way of decision.
