A heavyweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 211 according to MMA Junkie as Hesdy Gerges is in action against Domingos Barros.
Gerges (0-0-0) is not only making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout, but his professional MMA debut as well. Gerges has a plethora of kickboxing experience behind him, holding an overall record of 50-20-1 as a professional kickboxer. Gerges has held six titles as a professional kickboxer, with his last title being the Kings Of The Ring World K-1 Rules Super Heavyweight Championship, which was won in 2016.
Barros (5-0-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Barros has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter, with three coming by KO/TKO and two coming by way of decision. Barros is also returning to action for the first time in almost a year, with his last bout taking place in December of 2017.
Bellator 211 takes place on Saturday, December 1 from RDS Stadium in Genoa, Italy with Alessio Sakara and Kent Kauppinen headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
