Report: Jack Hermansson vs. Jared Cannonier Headlines UFC Fight Night Copenhagen


A middleweight division attraction will headline UFC Fight Night Copenhagen according to Malki Kawa as #4 Jack Hermansson is in action against #9 Jared Cannonier.

Hermansson (20-4-0) enters the contest on a four fight winning streak, defeating the four pack of Thales Leites, Gerald Meerschaert, David Branch and Ronaldo Souza. Hermansson has previously headlined a UFC card, defeating the aforementioned Souza at UFC Fight Night Fort Lauderdale. Hermansson has seen five of his twenty four professional MMA bouts go the distance, with the fighter picking up win in four of those encounters.

Cannonier (12-4-0) comes into the bout riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of David Branch and Anderson Silva. Cannonier is going to be headlining his first UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for over four years now. Cannonier has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.
