Report: Jack Marshman Replaces Wellington Turman At UFC Vegas 12

Wellington Turman has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been pulled from UFC Vegas 12, replacing him against Sean Strickland is Jack Marshman.

Strickland (20-3-0) is competing for the first time since being involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident in late 2018. Strickland has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC fights with the latest being a second-round TKO win over Nordine Taleb at UFC Fight Night Moncton. Strickland has competed 23 times as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those bouts went the distance.

Marshman (23-9-0) has won three of seven under the UFC banner with those wins coming over Magnus Cedenblad, Ryan Janes and John Phillips. Marshman is competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout came at UFC 239 in July of 2019. Marshman has competed 32 times as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those bouts went the distance.

UFC Fight Night: Hall vs. Silva is set for Saturday, October 31 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Uriah Hall and Anderson Silva headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
