A women’s strawweight division bout has been added to UFC Fight Night Beijing according to Raphael Marinho of Combate as Jessica Aguilar faces Weili Zhang.
Aguilar (20-6-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Jodie Esquibel at UFC Fight Night Boise. Aguilar is a former WSOF Women’s Strawweight Champion, having defeated Alida Gray to win the gold at the WSOF 8. Aguilar has seen her last five professional MMA bouts go the distance and it has been over four years since the fighter got a finish.
Zhang (17-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Danielle Taylor by unanimous decision at UFC 227. Zhang is a longtime veteran of the Kunlun Fight promotion, having won a total of eleven fights in the organization. Zhang hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost five years, with that last defeat coming to Meng Bo in a November 2013 Chinese MMA League event.
UFC Fight Night Beijing takes place on Saturday, November 24 from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China with Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
