A women?s flyweight division attraction has been added to a yet to be announced UFC card on January 23 as #5 Jessica Eye faces #6 Joanne Calderwood.

Eye (15-8-0-1NC) has won just one of her last three under the UFC banner with that lone win coming over Viviane Araujo at UFC 245. Eye has previously challenged for the UFC women?s flyweight title, losing to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 238. Eye has fought as both a flyweight and bantamweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 5-7-0-1NC in the promotion.
Calderwood (14-5-0) has also won just one of her last three in the UFC with the lone victory coming over Andrea Lee at UFC 242. Calderwood has competed 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and 10 of those encounters went the distance. Calderwood has also competed as a strawweight in the UFC and has amassed a 5-4-0 record in the UFC.
The yet to be announced UFC card is set for Saturday, January 23 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
