A women?s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 245 according to MMA Junkie as #1 Jessica Eye is going to be in action against #7 Viviane Araujo.
Eye (14-7-0-1NC) is competing for the first time since losing to UFC Women?s Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko via second round knockout at UFC 238. Eye has competed as both a flyweight and bantamweight in the UFC, earning a record of 4-6-0-1NC in the promotion. Eye has competed a total of twenty two times as a professional MMA fighter and fifteen of those encounters went the distance.
Araujo (8-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Talita Bernardo and Alexis Davis. Araujo has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of those victories have come by way of submission. Araujo has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against fellow UFC fighter Sarah Frota in April of 2017.
