Report: Jessica Penne Faces Jodie Esquibel At UFC Fight Night Brooklyn

A women’s strawweight division encounter has been added to UFC Fight Night Brooklyn according to MMA Fighting as Jessica Penne is going to be in action against Jodie Esquibel.

Penne (12-5-0) is competing for the first time since serving a USADA issued suspension for a failed drug test in 2017. Penne also hasn’t picked up a victory in over four years, with that last win coming over Randa Markos at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Penne has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title, losing to then champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC Fight Night 69.

Esquibel has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of those defeats have come by way of decision.
