Ayari (16-5-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner with that lone win coming over Jim Wallhead at UFC Fight Night 93. Ayari hasn’t competed in nearly two years, with his last professional MMA fight taking place on October of last year. Ayari has picked up eight of 16 wins by submission, with another five coming by way of decision.
Vendramini (8-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat which came to Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Vendramini is competing for the first time in over two years, with his last bout happening in September of 2018. Vendramini has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Island 4 takes place on Saturday, October 3 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Holly Holm and Irene Aldana headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
