A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 242 according to MMA Junkie as #5 Joanne Calderwood is going to be in action against #7 Andrea Lee.
Calderwood (13-4-0) has won two of her last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming against the duo of Kalindra Faria and Ariane Lipski. Calderwood has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of decision. Calderwood has competed as both a strawweight and flyweight in the UFC, earning a record of 5-4-0 in the promotion.
Lee (11-2-0) is undefeated thus far in the UFC, defeating the three pack of Veronica Macedo, Ashlee Evans-Smith and Montana De La Rosa. Lee will enter the contest on the strength of a seven fight winning streak and she hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years. Lee has seen her last three professional MMA bouts go the distance and she has yet to get a finish while competing in the UFC.
