Report: John Macapa Faces Kevin Croom At Bellator 218

A featherweight division attraction is the latest addition to Bellator 218 according to MMA Fighting as John Macapa is going to be in action against Kevin Croom.

Macapa (21-4-2) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the trio of Daniel Weichel, Pat Curran and AJ McKee. Macapa hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with that last victory coming in December of 2016. Macapa has picked up twenty one wins as a professional MMA fighter and nearly half of them have come by way of submission.

Croom (18-11-0) is competing under the Bellator MMA banner for the first time in over eight years, with that last promotional bout coming at Bellator 26 in August of 2010. Croom has seen six of his professional MMA fights go the distance, with the fighter winning three and losing three of those bouts. Croom is coming off of a three fight run in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, with the lone win coming over Darrick Minner at LFA 48.

Bellator 218 takes place on Friday, March 22 from the Winstar World Resort & Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Emmnauel Sanchez and Georgi Karakhanyan headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
