Report: Jordan Young Faces Joel Bauman At Bellator 224

A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 224 according to MMA Junkie as Jordan Young is going to be in action against Joel Bauman.

Young (10-0-0) has picked up five wins under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Chris Harris, Tim Caron, Alec Hooben, Jamal Pogues and Anthony Ruiz. Young has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and only two of those bouts went the distance. Young has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those victories came by way of submission.

Bauman (3-0-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost a year. Bauman has competed a total of six times as an amateur and professional MMA fighter, with five of those six encounters going the distance. Bauman captured two titles as an amateur MMA competitor, with those belts coming from the Ascendancy Fighting Championship and Caged Aggression promotions.

Bellator 224 takes place on Friday, July 12 from the Winstar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Julia Budd and Olga Rubin headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
