A middleweight division attraction has been added to Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 28 as Joseph Pyfer faces Dustin Stoltzfus.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Pyfer (6-1-0) enters the contest riding a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a loss in over three years. Pyfer is a former Ring Of Combat Middleweight Champion and he went undefeated during a two fight stint in the promotion. Pyfer has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Stoltzfus (12-1-0) will come into the contest riding a nine fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over five years. Stoltzfus has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Christian Skorzik at Fair Fighting Championship 3. Stoltzfus has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.
Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 28 takes place on Tuesday, August 11 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
