A bantamweight division attraction is the most recent addition to Bellator 214 according to Flo Combat as Juan Archuleta is going to be in action against Ricky Bandejas.
Archuleta (21-1-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA Bantamweight Division debut in this bout, having previously competed at featherweight. Archuleta has already picked up three wins in Bellator MMA competition, having defeated the trio of William Joplin, Robbie Peralta and Jeremy Spoon. Archuleta is a former King Of The Cage Featherweight Champion and he defended the gold five times before coming to Bellator MMA.
Bandejas (11-1-0) is also undefeated under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated James Gallagher by first round knockout earlier this year at Bellator 204. Bandejas enters the contest on the strength of a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years time. Bandejas is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion, defeating Nick Mamalis at CFFC 69 to claim the gold.
Bellator 214 takes place on Saturday, January 26 from The Forum in Inglewood,California with Ryan Bader and Fedor Emelianenko headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
