A heavyweight division attraction is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night Adelaide according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as #7 Junior Dos Santos faces #10 Tai Tuivasa.
Dos Santos (19-5-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last nine UFC bouts, with the last fight being a decision win over Blagoy Ivanov at UFC Fight Night Boise. Dos Santos is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, defeating Cain Velasquez at UFC On Fox 1 to claim the gold. Dos Santos is headlining his fourth straight UFC card and he has a record of 2-1-0 in those previous three main events.
Tuivasa (8-0-0) has already won three victories under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the trio of Rashad Coulter, Cyril Asker and Andrei Arlovski. Tuivasa has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and only one of those bouts got out of the first round. Tuivasa has previously competed against one former UFC Heavyweight Champion, as he defeated Andrei Arlovski by decision at UFC 225.
