A lightweight division attraction is scheduled to happen sometime in early 2019 according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN as #6 Justin Gaethje is in action against #7 Anthony Pettis.

Gaethje (19-2-0) has won just two of four fights under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over the duo of Michael Johnson and James Vick. Gaethje was the first and only World Series Of Fighting Lightweight Champion, starting his reign at the WSOF 8 after defeating Richard Patishnock by first round TKO. Gaethje has picked up nineteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and sixteen of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
