A women’s featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator London as Leah McCourt faces Janay Harding.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
McCourt (4-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated Judith Ruis, Kerry Hughes and Hatice Ozyurt. McCourt has already headlined one Bellator card, which was a unanimous decision win over the aforementioned Ruis at Bellator Dublin. McCourt has competed a total of five times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Harding (5-5-0) has won two of four thus far in Bellator MMA, with those wins coming over the duo of Sinead Kavanagh and Marina Mokhnatkina. Harding hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, with her last win coming at Bellator 219 in March of last year. Hardy has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Bellator London takes place on Saturday, May 16 from the SSE Arena in London, England with James Gallagher and Cal Ellenor headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the Bellator App.
