A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Moscow according to Taisumov himself as Mairbek Taisumov faces Desmond Green.
Taisumov (26-5-0) enters the contest on the strength of a five fight winning streak, with all of those wins coming by KO/TKO. Taisumov hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years, with that last loss coming to Michel Prazeres via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 38. Taisumov hasn’t competed on a pay-per-view card yet during his UFC tenure, which has lasted almost five years now.
Green (21-7-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night Utica. Green has seen his last seven fights end via decision and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish. Green is a former Titan FC Featherweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Steven Siler by unanimous decision to claim the gold in December 2014.
