Report: Marion Reneau vs. Macy Chiasson At February 6 UFC Event

A women’s bantamweight division bout has been added to the February 6 UFC card as #10 Marion Reneau faces #12 Macy Chiasson.

Reneau (9-6-1) enters the contest riding a three fight losing streak and she hasn’t won a bout in almost three years. Reneau’s last victory came at UFC On Fox 28 in February of 2018, defeating Sara McMann by second round submission. Reneau has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.

Chiasson (6-1-0) is competing for the first time in about a year, as her last bout came in February of 2020. Chiasson has won four of five in the UFC, with those victories coming over Pannie Kianzad, Gina Mazany, Sarah Moras and Shanna Young. Chiasson was the TUF 28 women’s featherweight winner, defeating the aforementioned Kianzad in the finals.

UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Volkov takes place on Saturday, February 6 with Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
