A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till as Mike Grundy faces Movsar Evloev.
MMA Junkie first reported the fight, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Grundy (12-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Nad Narimani by second round TKO at UFC Fight Night London. Grundy is back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place in March of last year. Grundy has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission.
Evloev (12-0-0) has already picked up a pair of wins in the UFC, defeating the duo of Enrique Barzola and Seung Woo Choi. Evloev is a former M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion and he relinquished the gold upon signing with the UFC last year. Evloev is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted over five years.
UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till takes place on Saturday, July 25 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Robert Whittaker and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
