Report: Movsar Evloev vs. Zhenhong Lu Removed From UFC Fight Night Shenzhen

Tomorrow mornings UFC Fight Night Shenzhen card has taken a hit as a bout between Movsar Evloev and Zhenhong Lu has been pulled from the event.

Lu was pulled from the event, despite making weight for the card, after the fighter suffered a cut and was deemed unable to compete according to MMA DNA.

Evloev posted the following on Instagram about the matter:

As you all might know my opponent got and the fight was cancelled, as they weren’t able to find a replacement in one day. I worked hard, i trained in several good training camps and cut weight. But once again my opponent wasn’t able to fight injured. But we do not despair, and move on. It’s part of the game. I plan to fight in the next tournament, no matter against whom and where. #ufc #shenzhen #mma #ruby #evloev #ingushetia
