Report: Paige VanZant’s BKFC Debut Pushed Back To February 2021

MMA

Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant was expected to make her Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) debut by the end of 2020, but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore.

That’s because MMA Fighting is reporting that VanZant will now make her promotional debut in February of next year. There has been no location or opponent revealed yet for PVZ’s bare knuckle fighting debut.

VanZant was going to make her debut at a BKFC event next month, but both her and her husband in Austin Vanderford reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, ruining their respective plans in the BKFC and Bellator.

There has been no comment yet from VanZant on the news, but when the fighter finally makes her BKFC debut, it will mark her first ever bare knuckle boxing fight. VanZant holds a 8-5-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, but she hasn’t won a fight in almost two years.
