A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 245 according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal as Punahele Soriano is in action against Oskar Piechota.
Soriano (6-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost three years. Soriano also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 1, defeating Jamie Pickett by unanimous decision. Soriano has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Piechota (11-2-1) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to the duo of Gerald Meerschaert and Rudolfo Vieira. Piechota hasn’t picked up a win in almost two years, with that last victory coming over Tim Williams at UFC Fight Night Austin. Piechota has competed a total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those encounters went the distance.
