A welterweight division encounter has been added to UFC Fight Night Brooklyn according to Newsday as Randy Brown is in action against Chance Rencountre.
Brown (10-3-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone victory coming over Mickey Gall at UFC 217. Brown has suffered all three of his professional MMA defeats in the UFC, with those losses coming to the trio of Michael Graves, Belal Muhammad and Niko Price. Brown has also picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Rencountre (12-3-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped a bout to Belal Muhammad by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Utica. Rencountre also competed twice in the Bellator MMA promotion, defeating Jake Lindsey and suffering a defeat to Justin Patterson. Rencountre has suffered three defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Brooklyn takes place on Saturday, January 19 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
