Report: Randy Costa vs. Trevin Jones Tabbed For 3/6 UFC Card

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the Match 6 UFC card as Randy Costa faces Trevin Jones.

MMA Junkie first reported the news.

Costa (6-1-0) comes into the contest riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over the duo of Journey Newson and Boston Salmon. Costa has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Brandon Davis at UFC 236. Costa has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and none of them have gone past the second round.

Jones (12-6-0-1NC) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, fighting Timur Valiev to a no contest at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar due to a failed drug test on Jones’ behalf. Jones is a former Pacific Xtreme Combat and Top FC bantamweight champion, winning those titles in 2016 and 2017. Jones has competed a total of 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and 11 of those encounters went the distance.

UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Rakic takes place on Saturday, March 6 from a location to be announced with Thiago Santos and Aleksandar Rakic headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
