A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brasilia as Rani Yahya faces Enrique Barzola.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Yahya (26-10-0-1NC) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Enrique Briones, Russell Doane and Luke Sanders. Yahya is going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place at UFC 234 in February of this year. Yahya has picked up twenty six wins as a professional MMA fighter and twenty of them came by way of submission.
Barzola (16-5-1) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone victory coming over Bobby Moffett at UFC Fight Night Uruguay. Barzola has competed a total of nine times as a professional MMA fighter and all of those encounters went the distance. Barzola has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
