A short time after the original story was posted, a report from Marc Raimondi of ESPN stated that the bout will headline UFC Fight Night Greenville.
Moicano (13-2-1) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Calvin Kattar and Cub Swanson. Moicano has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with those coming in UFC competition to Jose Aldo and Brian Ortega. Moicano has seen seven of his sixteen professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won all of those encounters.
Jung (14-5-0) has won just one of his last three bouts, with that lone win coming against Dennis Bermudez at UFC Fight Night 104. Jung has previously challenged for the UFC Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163 in August of 2013. Jung has headlined four straight UFC cards and holds a record of 2-2-0 in those four headlining appearances.
UFC Fight Night Greenville takes place on Saturday, June 22 from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina with Renato Moicano and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
