A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige as Ricardo Ramos faces Lerone Murphy.
AG Fight first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Ramos (14-2-0) enters the bout on the strength of a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Journey Newson and Luiz Eduardo Garagorri. Ramos has suffered just two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with those coming to Said Nurmagomedov and Manny Vazquez. Ramos has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of submission.
Murphy (8-0-1) has competed once before in the UFC, which was a split draw against Zubaira Tukhugov at UFC 242. Murphy also competed in the Full Contact Contender promotion, winning four of four fights in the organization. Murphy has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige takes place on Wednesday, July 15 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
