Report: Seven UFC Fighters, One Contender Series Fighter Appearing At NAC Meeting

The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) is holding their next meeting on Thursday, September 3 and a seven-pack of UFC fighters, plus one Contender Series fighter are expected to be at the meeting.

MMA Junkie has obtained the list of UFC and Contender Series fighters scheduled to appear, with those being Jamahal Hill, Tim Elliott, Luis Pena, Ryan Benoit, Roman Dolidze, Jorge Gonzalez, Deron Winn and Ty Flores.

Hill’s scheduled for a, “Hearing on Disciplinary Complaint, or in the alternative Hearing on Proposed Adjudication Agreement… for possible action.” Hill was scheduled to appear at the August meeting for allegedly failing a drug test, but his temporary suspension was extended until the September meeting.

Elliot’s scheduled for a, “Hearing on Disciplinary Complaint, or in the alternative Hearing on Proposed Adjudication Agreement… for possible action.” Elliott was scheduled to appear at the August meeting for allegedly failing a drug test, but his temporary suspension was extended until the September meeting.

Benoit’s scheduled for a, “Hearing on application… for issuance of license to engage in unarmed combat, to include discussion and deliberation regarding (his) United States Anti-Doping Agency in and out-of-competition drug testing results, for possible action.” MMA Junkie’s report says that Benoit may have passed all USADA issued drug tests for his last fight, but may not have passed by the NAC’s standards.

Gonzalez’s scheduled for a, “Hearing on Extension of Temporary Suspension… for possible action.” MMA Junkie’s report says that fighter could be at the hearing after being pulled from a bout against Ike Villanueva at UFC 252.

Winn’s scheduled for a, “Hearing on Proposed Adjudication Agreement … for possible action.” No further details are known about the reason for Winn appearing in front of the NAC.

Flores’ scheduled for a, “Hearing of Temporary Suspension… for possible action.” No further details are known about the reason for Flores appearing in front of the NAC.
