Report: Trevin Jones Win Overturned Due To Positive Marijuana Test

Trevin Jones scored an amazing come from behind win over Timur Valiev on the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar but it won't go down in the record books as such.

His amazing come-from-behind win is no more because MMA Junkie is reporting the victory was overturned to a no-contest by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) due to a failed drug test. Jones tested positive for marijuana, which has led to a four-month suspension by the NAC, plus a pair of fines on $1,800 and another $145.36 for prosecution fees. The second fine of $145.36 must be paid before Jones can be licensed to compete in the state of Nevada again.

Since the suspension is retroactive to the date of the drug test failure, Jones can return to action in late December of this year. There has been no comment from either Jones or the UFC at this time towards the ruling made by the NAC.
