Report: UFC 254 Brings In Approximately 675,000 Buys

UFC 254 took place this past Saturday, with Khabib Nurmagomedov retiring after defeating Justin Gaethje in the main event to become the undisputed UFC lightweight champion.

Despite the pay-per-view card starting at 2pm EST. instead of the traditional 10pm EST. time slot, the show still brought in a solid buy rate of approximately 675,000 buys according to the Sports Business Journal.

Other bouts that were a part of the main card saw Robert Whittaker defeat Jared Cannonier, Alexander Volkov defeat Walt Harris, Phil Hawes defeat Jacob Malkoun, Lauren Murphy defeat Liliya Shakirova and Magomed Ankalaev defeat Ion Cutelaba.

The event was the fifth highest selling UFC pay-per-view of 2020, but there have only been nine pay-per-view cards thus far for the UFC this year.

Up next for the UFC and pay-per-view is UFC 255 on November 21, which is headlined by a flyweight title bout between Deiveson Figueiredo and Alex Perez.
