Report: UFC Signs Sasha Palatnikov

A new threat is making his way to the UFC welterweight division as the promotion has reportedly inked Sasha Palatnikov to a contract.

Palatnikov (5-2-0) is a former AFC middleweight champion, defeating Sung Won Son to win the gold at AFC 12 in June of 2019. Palatnikov is coming off of a two fight run in the UAE Warriors promotion, where he defeated Paulo Henrique and suffering a defeat to Mounir Lazzez. Palatnikov has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and three of those bouts went the distance.
