A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana as #13 Vicente Luque faces Randy Brown.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Luque (18-7-1) has won seven of his last eight under the UFFC banner, with notable wins coming over Niko Price, Bryan Barberena, Mike Perry and Chad Laprise. Luque has suffered just a single defeat in the last three-plus years and that came against Stephen Thompson at UFC 244. Luque has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Brown (12-3-0) comes into the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Warlley Alves and the aforementioned Barberena. Brown has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Brown has competed a total of fifteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana takes place on Saturday, August 1 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Holly Holm and Irene Aldana headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
