The Invicta Fighting Championships Strawweight Title may be on the line at Invicta FC 31 according to MMA Fighting as Virna Jandiroba defends the gold against Janaisa Morandin.
Jandiroba (13-0-0) is going to be making the first defense of the championship, having won it by defeating Mizuki Inoue by split decision at Invicta FC 28. Jandirobaalso enters the contest riding a thirteen fight undefeated streak that has already lasted over five years. Jandirobahas picked up a total of thorteen wins as a professional MMA fighter, with ten of those victories coming by way of submission.
Morandin (10-1-0) has won just one of two fights under the Invicta FC banner, with that lone win coming over Kinberly Tanaka Novaes at Invicta FC 26. Morandin has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to recent UFC signee Livia Renata Souza at Invicta FC 25. Morandinhas seen her last two fights go the distance and it has been almost two years since the fighter got a finish.
