Report: Weigh-In Misses Cause Changes To Invicta FC Phoenix Rising Series Strawweight Tournament

MMA

Invicta Fighting Championship will hold the Phoenix Rising Series Strawweight Tournament tomorrow night, but some weigh-in issues have caused a last minute reshuffling of the card and brackets according to Bloody Elbow.

Mizuki Inoue and Janaisa Morandin have both missed weight for their tournament bouts, which has caused Amber Brown and Manjit Kolekar to get last minute tournament slots. Brown will replace Inoue and fight Sharon Jacobson in an opening round bout, while Kolekar replaces Morandin and faces Brianna Van Buren in another opening round fight.

Since Brown and Kolekar were originally supposed to meet each other in a tournament reserve bout before getting tournament spots, a fight between Alyssa Krahn and Itzel Esquivel will now serve as the lone tournament reserve fight.

Here are the full weigh-in results:

Kay Hansen (115.4) vs. Magdaléna Šormová (115.4)
Alyssa Krahn (115.8) vs. Itzel Esquivel (115.7)
Amber Brown (115.7) vs. Sharon Jacobson (115.7)
Manjit Kolekar (115.7) vs. Brianna Van Buren (115.8)
