Next months UFC Fight Night Singapore card has taken a hit because a report from Raphael Marinho of Combate is stating that Yan Xiaonan has suffered a foot injury and has been pulled from a bout against Ashley Yoder.
UFC officials are seeking a replacement for Xiaonan, as Yoder is expected to remain on the card at this time. There is about a month left before the event, which leaves the UFC plenty of time to find a replacement opponent to face Yoder.
Yoder (7-4-0) comes into the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Amanda Bobby Cooper and Syuri Kondo. Yoder has seen her last five professional MMA bouts go the distance and it has been almost three years since the fighter got a finish. Yoder also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Kate Jackson.
UFC Fight Night Singapore takes place on Saturday, 26 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Ben Askren and Demian Maia headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
