It was recently announced by the UFC that Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series is returning this Summer.
However, a variety of reports have recently surfaced revealing some of the potential fighters and fights for the series.
MMA Today has reported some of the fighters and fights allegedly set for the second season of the fight series, which is set to kick off on June 12.
DWTNCS Episode 9 will kick off with Will Santiago on the card, but his opponent and the other four bouts have yet to be announced. Episode 10 will feature Brandon Sayles, but his opponent and the remaining four fights have not been announced at this time. The first full fight that is rumored for the season takes place on Episode 11 and it features DWTNCS Episode 1 alumni Greg Rebello facing Oscar Cota.
Bevon Lewis is reportedly set for action on Episode 12, but no opponent has been revealed at this time.
Raphael Marinho of Combate has also reported that Antonino Shevchenko, sister of UFC fighter Valentina Shevchenko, will appear on the series. However, no opponent or date has been set yet for when Antonino will step foot in the Octagon.
Marinho is also reporting that the series will head to Brazil for a four pack of episodes this August, making it the first time the series has left its home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will allegedly serve as a guest judge on the show, but no competitors or bouts for the shows run in Brazil have been announced.
All twelve potential weeks of the fight series will stream live on UFC Fight Pass, commentary teams have also yet to be revealed.
