Scheduled to appear at the press conference are UFC President Dana White, UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez, UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley, UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Stephen Thompson, Karolina Kowalkiewiecz and a host of others.
The press conference starts about 22 minutes late, but when the curtain pops up, all of the fighters are in their respective seats and UFC President Dana White is at the podium, White thanks te New York Athletic Commission and MSG for making thing possible.
White is asked about the $4 Billion UFC sale and when Conor McGregor said he is worth $4 Billion himself, Conor stated that he is worth $4.2 Billion to the company.
Weidman is asked about potentially not being a part of UFC 205, Weidman says he cannot imagine that he would not fight on the card and getting the fight done in the last few weeks was crazy.
Conor is asked about the move to the lightweight division, Conor says that he is going to take over the lightweight division.
Conor is asked about his prediction for his fight against Eddie Alvarez, Conor says that Eddie needs to shut his f*cking mouth, he runs New York and he will knockout Eddie in one round.
Conor is asked about performing in Madison Square Garden, Conor says he is honored to compete in Madison Square Garden and the Irish built New York.
Tyron Woodley is asked the same question and talks about how all the top performers in every genre have performed at MSG and he is honored to do so as well.
Conor is asked about the leg injury, Conor said he came out of the rematch with Nate Diaz fresher than when he came in and he said he agreed to fight Eddie over ten days ago.
Conor is also asked about a statement that he made at UFC 202, Conor said that he made the UFC beg them and they came asking for him to fight at UFC 205.
Eddie is asked a question and Conor interrupts him saying that he is getting paid from his last contract and Eddie responds by beating Conor is easy money.
Conor is asked about being a double champion, he says it will take a f*cking army to get the belts off of him.
Woodley is asked about the fans booing him, Woodley asks the fans to boo him and you still have to call him the champion, Woodley aid that he accepted the fight with Wonderboy the first time it was offered and he says that his legacy speaks for itself.
Conor is asked about his preparation for Eddie, Conor says he has prepped for fighters like Eddie for his entire MMA career, Eddie tries interrupting and Conor says "f*ck you" to Eddie and his coach.
Conor is asked about Edde defeating Rafael Dos Anjos, Conor says he got lucky to win the title and he insults how much money Eddie is making for this fight.
Eddie is asked about Conor's rematch with Nate at UFC 202, Eddie says that Conor cannot last longer than eight minutes and he runs after that.
Conor then says that Eddie is a broke bum who cannot pay his bills.
Conor is asked to predict his fight with Eddie again, Conor again says that he is going to knock him out within one round.
Conor then talks about Eddie's cardio, Conor says that Eddie is a balloon and his cardio will not be a problem.
Dana is asked about what he envisioned for the card, Dana announces Khabib Nurmagomedov versus Michael Johnson, then saying that UFC 205 is the best card they have put together yet.
Cowboy is asked about what this experience is like for him, Cowboy calls Conor a joke and that his experience in New York has been incredible. Conor responds by saying that he loves everybody and that they are all jealous of him for what he has accomplished.
Eddie is asked about a quote he made about about McGregor over the summer, Eddie says that Conor is bad when it comes to dealing with bad situations.
Cowboy is asked about competing as a welterweight, Cowboy says he can eat and drink what he wants at welterweight and that cutting weight sucks.
Edgar is asked about competing in MSG, Edgar says that he is happy to be here and to put on a show for the fans.
Weidman is asked about being a New York representative for UFC 205, he says that he is proud to be a New Yorker and he would love for his teammates to be a part of the card as well.
Dana is asked about a potential Weidman versus Jon Jones fight, Dana says that it is a fight they are no longer interested in because of Jones situation.
Joanna Champion is asked about her opponent in Karolina Kowalkiewiecz, Joanna says she has been wanting to fight on the card since it was first announced, she is also happy to fight Karolina and the fight was originally supposed to happen in Poland. Joanna says that the Polish ladies rule the world.
Karolina is asked about fighting Joanna, Karolina says that she is ready for the fight and she has worked hard for this, she only wants to fight the best.
Thompson is asked about wanting to fight Robbie Lawler, Thompson says that he does not care who is champion, that he just wants to become champion.
Dana is asked about the strategy for putting together the card, he said that he just wanted to put the best card together for New York.
Eddie is asked about his strategy for Conor, he and Conor babble to each other about their coaches.
Conor is asked about his wrestling defense, Conor said that he left Chad Mendes knocked out and he will be doing the same thing to Eddie as well, Conor says that he will be a two division champion.
Dana is asked about Conor possibly being a two division champion, Dana says they will see what they will do about the whole situation and Conor says that it will take an army to get the belts off of him and he will fight whoever he wants to fight after this. Eddie interrupts and says Coonor will be beltless after UFC 205.
Dana is asked about how hard it was to get the UFC to New York, Dana says that is was very hard to finally get the UFC to the state.
Weidman is asked about his post-UFC 205 plans, Weidman says he is going after the middleweight title after this event.
Stephens is asked about fighting Edgar in New York, Stephens says that he plans on knocking out Edgar in New York.
Conor is asked about his UFC pay for this year, he says he plans on earning $40 Million in 2016.
Dana is asked about Ronda Rousey fighting at UFC 205, Dana said that it was never in the plans.
Conor is asked about who on the panel provides the biggest challenge for him, he says no one on the panel is good enough to fight him and he plans on fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. next.
Edgar is asked about fight in underground fights in New York, Edgar says that it has been a long journey to get where he is now.
Alvarez is almost asked a question, but the reporter insults him anyway and Conor eggs him on, Conor says that Eddie is blessed to have his ass whipped by him, Eddie responds by saying that Conor is the easiest opponent he will be fighting.
They are now playing a video package as they prepare for the fighter face offs.
Frankie Edgar/Jeremy Stephens are first with little happening between them, Kelvin Gastelum/Donald Cerrone are next with nothing much to report from their face off, Chris Weidman/Yoel Romero are next with not much happening again, Joanna Jedrzejczyk/Karolina Kowalkiewiecz go head to head and Dana White has to get in between them, Tyron Woodley/Stephen Thompson shake hands and Eddie Alvarez/Conor McGregor go face to face while trash talking with Eddie telling Conor to show the fans his "little boy belt", the crowd sings "ole, ole, ole" as the photos are being snapped and the press conference is over.
