Sean O’Malley last competed at UFC 250, scoring a first round knockout victory over former WEC Bantamweight Champion Eddie Wineland.

A victorious O’Malley now has his eyes set on the future and the fighter would like to face Marlon Vera in the Octagon next.

Vera, who has won five of his last six bouts under the UFC banner, would answer O’Malley’s challenge through a series of Twitter posts:

 

 

 

If the fight does get booked by the UFC down the line, it would pit the #14 ranked O’Malley against a fighter who isn’t ranked in the bantamweight division at the moment.
