The One Championship Strawweight Title is going to be defended in the main event of One Championship: Warriors Of The World as Yoshitaka Naito defends the gold against Alex Silva.
Naito (12-0-0) is making the second defense of his championship, last defending it against Joshua Pacio at One Championship: State Of Warriors. Naito is also the Shooto Strawweight Champion, defending the belt twice before signing with One Championship last year. Naito has only competed twice thus far in One Championship and neither of those fights went the distance.
Silva (6-1-0) has won five of six under the One Championship banner and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost six years. Silva has seen four of his last five fights end within the opening round, with three of those wins coming over members of the Catalan family (Robin, Rene & Ruel). Silva is going to be fighting for the third time this year, which is the most active he has been in a single year since becoming a professional MMA fighter.
One Championship: Warriors Of The World takes place on Saturday, December 9 from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand with Yoshitaka Naito and Alex Silva headlining. Fightful will provide quick results of the event, which streams live on Fite TV.
