The One Championships Women’s Atomweight Title will be on the line at One Championships 53 as Angela Lee defends against Jenny Huang.
Lee (6-0-0) will be making the first defense of her championship, a title she won by defeating Mei Yamaguchi at One Championships: Ascent To Power. Lee has spent her entire professional MMA career in One Championships, making her professional MMA debut in May of 2015. Lee has seen only one of her pro MMA fights go past the second round, which is the fight where she defeated Yamaguchi to win the championship in 2016.
Huang (5-0-0) has fought four times under the One Championships banner, defeating the four pack of Elena Pashinina, Amira Badr, Jeet Toshi and April Olsen. Huang’s only other fight as a pro came in the Pacific Rim Organized Fighting promotion, where she defeated Daizy Singh by unanimous decision in her professional MMA debut. Huang has earned three of her five wins by submission, the other two wins in her career came via decision.
One Championships 53 takes place on Saturday, March 11 from the Impact Arena in Bangkok with Angela Lee and Jenny Huang headlining, the main card will be airing on iPPV.
