A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana as Tom Breese faces Roman Kopylov.
The UFC Europe Twitter page first announced the bout.
Breese (11-3-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Daniel Kelly at UFC Fight Night Liverpool. Breese has competed just one in the last two years, which was a loss to Brendan Allen at UFC Fight Night Norfolk. Breese has competed a total of 13 times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Kopylov (8-1-0) is winless thus far in UFC competition, dropping a bout to Karl Roberson at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Kopylov is a former Fight Nights Global Middleweight Champion, defeating Abdulsupyan Alikhanov at FNG 85 to claim the gold. Kopylov has picked up seven of eight professional MMA wins by way of KO/TKO, with another coming by decision.
UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana takes place on Saturday, October 3 from a location to be announced with Holly Holm and Irene Aldana headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
