This upcoming weekend at UFC 274, Tony Ferguson will return to the Octagon after almost a year out and face Michael Chandler.

During his time out of the Octagon, Ferguson has kept himself to himself and has not been as active on social media and in interviews. However, today at UFC 274 media day, Ferguson went on a verbal outburst at the UFC on multiple issues including fighter pay and fighter insurance.

In the clip which you can click on and watch below, Ferguson claims that UFC fighters are massively underpaid and that he once approached Dana White to have permission to compete in a boxing match and he rejected his request.

Check out the video below to see what Ferguson had to say.

It will be interesting to see if Dana White will respond to any of Ferguson's comments in the next few days as Ferguson did go in on White and the UFC quite a lot in this single interview.

One thing which Ferguson did not like was that White came out several days ago and claimed that a large portion of boxers are extremely overpaid. Very average fighters in boxing make more per fight than some of the best UFC fighters in the world and that is an issue which the UFC needs to change in the future if they want to satisfy their fighters more.

Away from these issues and Ferguson's comments, it will be great to see Ferguson back in the Octagon this upcoming weekend. He has a very good chance to propel himself back into title contention if he can get a huge win over the always exciting Michael Chandler.
